Project Coordinator (Client Services)
Location: Chino, CA (On-site)
Emblem is a California-based furniture manufacturer specializing in custom banquettes and integrated seating for commercial interiors. We partner with designers, dealerships, and brands to create highly tailored pieces for workplace, hospitality, and multi-family environments.
We’re growing quickly and looking for a Project Coordinator to support our Client Services team. This role is central to how our projects run, bridging communication between clients, internal teams, and production.
This is an ideal role for someone who is highly organized, tech-savvy, and excited to work at the intersection of design, manufacturing, and client experience.
What You’ll Do
You’ll work directly under our Director of Client Services and support a wide range of project and customer-facing tasks, including the following:
* Client & Communication Support
Monitor and manage shared inboxes (quotes@, hello@)
Respond to general inquiries and route messages appropriately
Communicate with clients via email and phone in a professional, solutions-oriented way
Greet visitors and support front-office coordination
* Project Coordination
Assist with order entry and project setup
Help maintain accurate project records across systems (CRM, Airtable, etc.)
Support the shop drawing and approval process
Prepare and send client-facing materials (samples, finish packages, etc.)
Write and organize assembly instructions for completed projects
* Logistics & Operations
Coordinate incoming COM (customer’s own material) and track documentation
Request and compare freight quotes
Schedule shipments and prepare shipping paperwork (labels, weights, dimensions)
Accept deliveries and coordinate incoming/outgoing logistics
*Team Support
Support the Director of Client Services on active projects
Assist with simple quoting over time (training provided)
Step in to support order processing when needed
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable managing multiple priorities at once
Tech-savvy and quick to learn new systems (CRM, Airtable, etc.)
Proactive and able to work independently
Positive, team-oriented mindset
Recommended Experience
Experience in commercial furniture, interior design, or a related industry
Background working with dealerships, reps, or manufacturers
