- Interior Designer 1
Description
Our studio is in search of an interior designer with exceptional organizational skills to work in our in-house Interiors Studio, crafting beautiful spaces alongside a team of like-minded individuals.
The ideal candidate is a highly creative and detail focused interior designer who shares our aesthetic sensibilities, commitment to environmental stewardship, and will push our team to continue to create acclaimed projects and spaces. Experience as a support role to small/medium teams on complex single-family residential projects is ideal but not required. The role will require supporting the production of documents and presentations for both Interior Architecture and FFE, 3D modeling, vendor outreach, product sourcing support. Interior Designer 1 will work under Interior Designer 3 (Project Manager) in all phases of innovative residential interior architecture from initial concept to furnishings installation.
The position is full time with a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, 401K, a transit plan, continuing education funds, paid volunteer time, and reimbursements for accreditation exams.
LOCATION:
Feldman Architecture's hybrid work model allows staff the opportunity to both work from home, as well as at least 3 days a week in our lively design studio - a recently renovated Fire House off of Polk Street.

Requirements
- Interior Design or Architecture degree preferred.
- 1+ years of interiors experience working on high quality residential projects (primarily in single-family residential)
- Passion for design, from concept to execution
- Ability to understand complex design concepts and directives
- Ability to manage deadlines and balance priorities between multiple projects
- Independent self-starter as well as a team player who thrives in a highly collaborative environment
- Excellent verbal, written, organizational and management skills
- Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Excel, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Passion for sustainability technologies, design principles, and products
