In Fall 2024, VIA was awarded the T. David Fitz-Gibbon Architecture Firm Award by AIA Virginia. This award is the highest honor that can be bestowed upon a Virginia-based architecture firm and recognizes firms who are not only known for the quality of their work but who have consistently demonstrated outstanding contributions to the profession and the community. This award is a validation that our core principles extend beyond our firm’s walls and resonate with our clients and colleagues as well.
Company History
Founded in 1991 by visionary architect Donna Phaneuf, VIA has a 30+ year legacy of staying ahead of the curve.
In 2016, Donna welcomed Andrew McKinley and Scott Campbell as partners. Following years of dedicated mentorship and collaboration, Andrew and Scott assumed joint ownership of VIA in January 2025.
