Company History
Founded in 1953, Steinberg Architects is an award-winning architectural practice that is recognized as a leader in the planning, programming, and design of multi-family residential high density housing. Over the past 60+ years, the firm has grown from a small architectural practice specializing in custom residential design into an international firm with a broad portfolio in master planning and design of residential, civic, commercial and academic facilities.
Our goal is to continually explore ideas that help our clients through leading-edge ideas, design excellence, place making, and architecture that enriches peoples’ lives and enhances social environments.
Steinberg Architects has designed housing since the firm was founded, including affordable, market-rate, and mixed-use typologies. On every project, ranging from high rise towers to the single family home, we strive to create a distinct residential experience. Over the past 35 years, we have developed a particular passion for projects on urban infill sites, both in the United States and Asia.
