Description
Primary Function
In collaboration with the sales team, develop, deliver, and execute OEM “program” projects while supporting broader project management operations. This role blends project execution and field support to ensure successful project delivery aligned with client expectations, budgets, and timelines.
The Project Management Consultant works remotely while serving as a key liaison between clients, internal teams, vendors, and installation crews.
Key Result Areas (KRAs) will be performed in ways to benefit the client, the sales team, and GCF.
KRA 1: Project Management & Execution
The role is a Project Manager function, supporting the Sr. Project Manager, ensuring continuity across all active projects.
Generate Service Work Orders & track shipments
Reserve rental equipment
Coordinate and participate in pre-construction meetings to confirm scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Act as the primary in-field contact during installations, supporting both sales teams and installation crews on-site.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables while maintaining accuracy and accountability.
Provide proposal back-up support to the sales team to help secure project wins.
Support pricing, scheduling, and delay tracking in collaboration with senior team members.
Assist in placing and reviewing orders to ensure correct pricing and order accuracy.
Conduct daily order tracking, including vendor coordination, shop drawings, site measurements, delivery, and installation schedules.
Secure and coordinate installation services, ensuring all documentation (installation packets, service work orders, and instructions) is complete and distributed.
KRA 2: Punch List, Warranty & Closeout Management
Lead punch list and warranty processes with a high sense of urgency to ensure timely and satisfactory project completion.
Manage and track punch list items from identification through resolution.
Conduct daily punch list reviews and participate in weekly review meetings with leadership to address outstanding issues.
Coordinate closely with customers and installation teams to resolve deficiencies efficiently.
Collect and process service work orders upon project completion.
Review active projects in punch list phase and coordinate internal transitions as needed.
KRA 3: Systems, Reporting & Operational Support
Maintain and update project data within internal systems, i.e. Khameleon, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all project information.
Support ongoing system management, including data entry, reporting, and process improvements.
Review progress reports and transfer key data into internal tracking systems.
Assist with training and serve as a backup resource for system management when needed.
Utilize project management tools to track progress, schedules, and communication.
KRA 4: Team Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Collaborate closely with sales, design, and project management teams to support overall project success.
Actively support team members by providing backup coverage and operational assistance.
Proactively identify and solve problems while maintaining a strong customer service focus.
Requirements
Qualifications
3+ years of related work experience in project management, systems furniture, or related field
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
Preferred Qualifications
Construction experience/background
Experience with project management systems (i.e. Khameleon, Buildertrend)
Experience supporting millwork and FF&E projects
Military experience
